2025 Vet School for a Day 1.5 Online Application

This is the application for UGA 2025 Vet School for a Day 1.5, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025. The application deadline will end on Thursday, August 28th. Our office will reach out to confirm selected students by Friday, September 5th, 2025 at the latest, via the student's primary email. Each selected high school participant and high school chaperone will be required to submit at $10 deposit to attend VSD 1.5, once selected. For college students, you do not require a chaperone and you will be required to submit a $20 deposit to attend VSD 1.5, once selected. 

While the central location of this program will be at UGA Tifton, chaperones and students will need to be prepared to drive to a few different site visits in Tifton, which will act as rotating learning sites centered around veterinary medicine. A schedule will be provided only to students who will be selected. 

Please do not begin this application until you are ready to complete it, which includes an upload for your unofficial transcript, a quality jpg headshot or picture, three short essay questions, and an unlisted YouTube Video no longer than 3 minutes. The application will take quality time to complete so be prepared to complete it in its entirety once you start it. You will not be able to make any edits once you have submitted your application.

The video essay should be no more than 3 minutes or 180 seconds. 
Position your camera well and be mindful of video background, lighting, and potential noise distractions.
Maintain eye contact when speaking on camera.
Applicants will be heavily evaluated by the quality of their responses, not solely by the quality of the video.
