Study Away Scholarship Application

You are submitting an application for FACS Study Away Scholarships.

You'll need a reference from a faculty member who can speak on your academic success. Most FACS faculty are included in the dropdown menu at the end of this application. Your faculty reference can also be somebody from outside of UGA. If this is the case, send a request (including their name and email) to facsassocdeans@uga.edu to add them to the list.

All applicants are required to respond to the following questions (250 words or less):
- In what ways have you shown leadership, taken initiative, or contributed to your community?
- What specific academic or cultural experiences are you hoping to gain from this travel opportunity?
- How do you think this travel experience will enhance your professional or career goals?

If you think you'll take over 30 minutes to finish this application, prepare your longer answers ahead of time, then come back and paste them to avoid getting timeout errors.
