Fall 2026/Spring 2027 Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Application

You are applying for Undergraduate/Graduate Scholarships for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. You will not be eligible for the scholarships if you graduate before this timeframe.

Instructions for completing your scholarship application:
You will need a reference from a faculty member who can speak on your academic success. Most FACS faculty are included in the dropdown menu at the end of this application. Your faculty reference can also be someone from outside of UGA. If this is the case, send a request (including their name and email) to facsassocdeans@uga.edu to add them to the list.

There are certain criteria for the Dr. Debbie Phillips scholarship and the Karen Tinsley scholarship. The criteria can be found here. If you meet this criteria please be prepared to write a 2-3 paragraph essay.

All applicants are required to respond to the following essay questions (250 words or less):
- In what ways have you shown leadership, taken initiative, or contributed to your community?
- Please explain how receiving a scholarship will enhance your ability to pursue your academic and professional goals.

If you think you will take over 30 minutes to finish this application, prepare your longer answers ahead of time, then come back and paste them to avoid getting timeout errors.
