CVM CIVM Updates on Program From

Thank you for your participation in the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine’s Certificate Program in International Veterinary Medicine (CIVM). The certificate will be presented to candidates who successfully complete the program once the DVM degree is conferred.

Completing this form (as many times as you need) helps our office determine the status of where you are in the process of obtaining the certificate. Students will submit the dates that they have completed their requirements thus far. Once a student completes ALL requirements for the CIVM, they will submit all documentation in the CIVM Completion Form. For questions about the CIVM program, please review the information on our webpage. After reviewing the information on our website, submit any questions below. Narke Norton is the contact for the CIVM. You can reach Narke at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Please note: Students from Class of 2026 and earlier may have taken the International Veterinary Medicine (VETM 5201) course before it was faded out due to our new curriculum. International Veterinary Medicine Lectures (IVMLs) and 5 Lifestock Lessons will replace the VETM 5201 course requirement. If you took VETM 5201, you do not have to attend IVMLs or complete Lifestock Lessons.
