College of Veterinary Medicine Ambassadors Request Form

Thank you for your interest in the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) Ambassadors Program. This form is used to request the assistance of CVM Ambassadors at your event or program. If this request is for an event or program outside of the Ambassadors' required commitments, we ask that you submit your request at least 2-3 weeks in advance so that we can determine if we have availability to accommodate your request.

Before You Submit:
Please be aware that submitting this request form does not guarantee we will have Ambassadors available for your event. Ambassadors must prioritize classes over events and programs. Please do not contact Ambassadors directly for events or programs. All requests should be submitted via this form and communications (if needed) should be directed to the primary contacts below. Depending on the nature of the request, our office may use your chart string to compensate Ambassadors.

Restrictions for Tours:
Fall groups are hosted from September 14, 2026 through November 6, 2026. Any requests outside of this date range must be pre-approved by the Primary Contacts (Narke & Carey). The Primary contacts will review the academic responsibility to center student needs and will review the academic calendar to determine exam and quiz conflicts outside of this date range.

Time restraints for Ambassador availability request dates will be 12 - 1pm or 4- 5pm during weekdays. Our office can be more flexible on request times after-hours during weekdays (after 5pm) and during weekends.

Office of Academic Affairs dates that may be in conflict with your requests (pre- Sept 14th and post-Sept 14th):

Sunday, August 9th - White Coat Ceremony
Saturday, Sept 12th - UGA Vet School for a Day 1.5 (limited number of Ambassadors on this date in South Georgia) & Saturday, Sept 19th - UGA Vet School for a Day 1.0 (second and third-year Ambassadors are drafted to this event)
Saturday, Nov 7th - Youth Pre-vet BootCAMP (limited number of Ambassadors on this date)

Our office does not provide requests when class is not in session (e.g., holidays, academic breaks, summer, etc.). While the program is predominantly inactive, there may be a few Ambassadors who might inform the advisors of their availability during inactive sessions. However, this list may be small to non-existent. Even if a few Ambassadors indicate their availability during inactive sessions, the students still have the choice to opt-in voluntary assignments.

While the Ambassador Request Form will be open for Fall 2026 dates by July 2026, our office will not be able to review requests until the week of August 24-28, 2026. This process allows our student Ambassadors a few weeks of academic stability before requests are shared to determine their availability. If we can support your request, we will notify you within 5-7 business days, during the week of August 24-28, 2026 OR from the date of your submission after the week of August 24-28th. If we are unable to support your request, we will notify you within 5 - 7 business days, during the week of August 24-28th OR from the date of your submission after the week of August 24-28th.
