This is the sign-up survey for the 2026 Dougherty County Master Gardener Extension Volunteer (MGEV) Training. To show your interest in the training, please provide your contact information. We will email the application forms to you and you can submit your completed application through email or at our office during office hours.
The training will be conducted every Thursday, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm from March 05, 2026 to May 28, 2026. The training will be hosted at UGA Dougherty County Extension office (125 Pine Ave., Ste. 100, Albany, GA 31701). To be a Georgia Master Gardener, you are required to complete the training and than volunteer for 50 hours in extension-approved projects within the first year from the completion of the training. The cost of this program is $200 which includes a Master Gardener textbook, a notebook, a name badge, one-year membership in the Georgia Master Gardener Association and other training materials and supplies. You will be asked to pay the registration fee after acceptance into the training.
