Dasher Fund Scholarship Student Application

STUDENT APPLICATION FOR THE DASHER PRE-HEALTH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING FUND SCHOLARSHIP

With generous support from the Dr. Charles Alexander Dasher Pre-Health Experiential Learning Fund, the Division of Biological Sciences is pleased to support BIOL (Biology) majors to participate in a Pre-Health Experiential Learning opportunity while attending the University of Georgia.

If you are planning to engage in an Experiential Learning activity focused on pre-health (e.g. internship in a hospital or clinic, research at the Center for Disease Control, shadowing at a pharmaceutical company) in Summer 2026, you are encouraged to submit your plans to the Dr. Charles Alexander Dasher Pre-Health Experiential Learning Fund. The Fund was established to help offset costs that you will incur in order to successfully achieve the activity.

Preference will be given to:

approved UGA Experiential Learning Activities and/or Courses (see https://el.uga.edu/students/find-my-experience/)
pre-health experiences other than Study Abroad experiences

Applications are due April 20, 2026 at 5 pm. Recipients will be notified by April 30, 2026.
